Blued Winchester Proof Steel barrels with a single red bead sight on the matted vent rib which is marked "CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER", 3 inch wedges of scroll engraving at either breech and muzzle, 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and chokes marked "IMP CYL"/"MOD." The blued boxlock action displays beautiful Grand American pattern engraving consisting of near full coverage floral scrollwork surrounding four gold inlaid game scenes. The left side shows a setter in a field scene, the right has a pointer in a field scene, the underside shows a pair of flushing pheasant in a field scene, and a bust of a pointer on the trigger guard all rendered in highly detailed gold inlay. The gun features a gold plated single selective trigger and tang mounted automatic safety switch. Beautifully figured, 21-B pattern fancy fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings and ebony tip inlay and pistol grip stock with blued "GRAND/AMERICAN" gold inlaid grip cap and fleur-de-lis checkered bare butt. Included are two extra matching numbered and engraved barrel sets, one in 28 gauge and one in 20 gauge, both measuring 28 inches and featuring their own forends, "IMP CYL"/"MOD" marked chokes, and chambers with automatic ejectors. Also included is a leather bound takedown case with canvas cover, oiler, and three sets of snap caps. Exceptionally fine as custom upgraded/built to current configuration, retaining 99% blue and gold finishes with minor handling evidence, slight rubbing at the muzzles, some oxidation around the top rib at the breech, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Other than some oxidation along the upper rib, the extra barrel sets are also very fine. The case is excellent. Mechanically excellent.
