Blued steel barrel featuring a hooded ramped beaded blade front sight with flip-up moon bead, sling stud barrel band, three leaf (two folding, one standing) island rear sight, and hand cut caliber marking on the left side of the breech. The blued CZ VZ 24 action with the serial number on the left of the action above the CZ markings, square bridge scope bases, and Talley scope rings holding a Burris Euro Diamond 1.5-6x40mm scope. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered Schnabel tip pistol grip stalking rifle stock with beautiful lines, blued steel grip cap, rear sling stud, and a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. This rifle is built to the same specifications by the same members of the American Custom Gunmakers Guild as the "B" rifle, which is its non-matching serial numbered mate.
Very fine as custom built, retaining 99% blue finish with limited handling evidence and sharp checkering on the wood. Scope optics are sharp. Mechanically excellent.
Nearly identical to "A", with the action marked "R. FAMAGE/1957" on the right receiver ring and its own Burris Euro Diamond 1.5-6x40mm scope. Included with this gun is a the American Custom Gunmakers Guild historian certifying that he gun was built by members of the guild, in this case specifically Jim Dubell with the metalwork, Dennis Earl Smith on the stock work, and a grip cap by Lenard Brownell. The letter also states that there is a matching gun built in a different caliber, while it lists the serial numbers as matching, it is believed that the "A" gun is the matching rifle.
Very fine as custom built, retaining 99% blue finish and limited handling evidence. The stock shows a few small scratches on the sides but is otherwise very fine with sharp checkering. The scope optics are sharp. Mechanically excellent.
