Blued Krupp Laufstahl barrels with beaded blade front and flip-up rear sights on the matted solid rib which also holds a set of claw mounts hosting a Weaver Model 1x scope, 1939 dated German proofs, bands of engraving at the breech, choke constrictions of .037/.037 inches, and chambers measured 2 3/4 inches with extractor. The coin finished action displays a roaring red stag on the left and a roe buck on the right, both surrounded by scrollwork. The gun features double triggers (front is single set), Greener safety, cocking indicators, and tang mounted selector. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece and horn buttplate. Length of pull 14 3/16 inches. Weight 7 lbs. 6 oz. (including scope).
Very fine, retaining 95% original blue and coin finishes with some spotting on the barrels (concentrated on the left), some oil discoloration on the action along with a spot of oxidation, light handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Scope optics are clear. Mechanically excellent.
