The coin finished action displays scroll engraving around a fox and pheasants on the right and a pair of posturing capercallie cocks and two hens. The gun features double triggers (front is single set) and a tang mounted selector. Attractively figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece, engraved cartridge trap, and hard rubber buttplate. Very fine, retaining 85% reapplied blue and 95% original coin finishes with plum hue to the barrels, some light sub-finish pitting, overall light handling evidence, and crisp checkering on the stock and forend. The scope optics are clear. Mechanically excellent.
