These Third Model Colt Derringers were introduced in 1870. The top of the barrel has a rounded blade front sight and "COLT" in large italic letters and the bottom of the barrel has small British proofs. The caliber marking is on the left of the frame. The matching serial number is faintly marked inside each grip. Includes a leather wrapped case with Colt London agency marking on the interior of the lid, two .41 RF cartridges, and a cleaning rod.

Excellent, retains 95% plus of the original blue and 98% original silver finishes with the balance having thinned on a few edges to mostly a smooth grey patina or attractively aged brass. The grips are very fine with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some mild wear.
