This Mauser training rifle is equipped with a ramped blade front sight and tangent rear sight graduated to 200 meters. The left of the barrel at the breech is marked "KAL. 22 LANG FUR BUCHSEN" followed by the serial number ahead of crown over "B" and "U" proof marks. The top of the receiver is marked with the Erma banner, "DEUTCHES SPORTMODELL" marked on the right rear, and crown over "B" and "U" proofs followed by the matching serial number above the Erma address marked on the left. Mounted with a smooth one piece walnut pistol grip stock with "SA" (Sturmabteilung/Storm Detachment) stamped on the right of the buttstock. Includes a period leather sling and muzzle cap. Exceptionally fine, retains 85% plus original blue finish with some light wear around the muzzle and on the bolt. Stock is fine with numerus scattered scratches and dings, and crisp stampings. Mechanically excellent.
