Blued Winchester Proof Steel barrels with a single red bead sight on the matted vent rib which is marked "CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER", 3 3/4 inch wedges of floral scroll engraving at either breech,2 3/4 inch chamber with automatic ejectors, and chokes marked "IMP CYL"/"MOD". The blued boxlock action displays Winchester 21-6 pattern engraving consisting of near full coverage floral scroll surrounding deep cut oak leaf engraving on the fences and four highly detailed gold inlaid game scenes. The left shows a setter in a field, the right shows a pointer, the underside has a pair of pheasants, and the triggerguard is a bust of a setter. The gun features a single selective gold trigger and tang mounted automatic safety switch with gold inlaid "SAFE". Beautiful, highly figured, fancy 21-B pattern fleur-de-lis checkered beavertail forend with ebony tip insert and engraved fittings as well as a pistol grip stock with blued and gold inlaid grip cap marked "GRAND/AMERICAN" in gold, blank gold inscription oval, and fleur-de-lis checkered bare butt. Includes two extra matching barrel sets, both measuring 28 inches, improved cylinder/modified chokes, and their own beavertail forends, the .410 bore marked with a small "3" on the forend lug has 3 inch chambers, and the 20 gauge marked with a small "2" on the forend lug has 2 3/4 inch chambers. Also included is a leather bound factory takedown case with canvas cover, six nickel snap caps (two in each gauge), cleaning tools, Model 21 advertising, and autobiographical information on late Winchester employee and Winchester Model 21 expert Edward E. Very fine overall as custom embellished to current configuration, retaining 99% plus blue and gold finishes, limited handling evidence, plum coloration to the action, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The case, accessories, and extra barrel sets are also all excellent. Mechanically excellent.
