This 3rd Generation Sheriff's Model Single Action Army features the type "A" factory engraving of a broad scroll pattern on the barrel, cylinder flats, frame, loading gate and back strap. Marked "COLT ENG" under the grips. Standard markings include two line Colt Hartford top barrel address, model on the left side and "COLT S.A.A.44 CAL." on the right side. The left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates followed by the Rampant Colt and the matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame, on the front and back strap under the grips and marked on the inside of each grip panel. All nickel finish, standard blade and frame notch sights and fitted with smooth two-piece walnut grips. The extra cylinder has the same engraving pattern on the flats and is marked "44 SPL.". Complete with the original "wood grain" box numbered to the gun, with Colt Custom Shop end label detached but included.

Near new with very slight storage marks. Mechanically excellent.
