New, semi-automatic copy of the famous World War II MG42 produced from a combination of original parts and a modern production semi-automatic only receiver and trigger group. Flip up blade front and tangent rear sight mounted on the barrel shroud, with the flared recoil booster and a spring loaded folding bipod attached to the underside. The left side of the receiver is marked "sa/M.G. 42/SERIAL-009/BRP/CLNTN-MD/CAL-7.92" as well as "NEANDERTHAL ARMORY LEHI, UT. CAL-7.92". Many of the upper receiver components are marked with Waffenamt proofs. Ribbed hardwood grip panels, with a ribbed, wire reinforced wood butt. Includes a leather sling, anti-aircraft sight, and an olive green painted ammunition belt can.

Very fine, retains 99% of the refinished black with some scattered light handling marks and light edge wear. The grips and stock are very good with some scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
