The barrel has varying silver inlaid patterns on the muzzle and each barrel flat, a large gold Tokugawa mon on top, gold and silver accented sights, and a series of Japanese characters on the breech section in gold. The painted stock also has golden Tokugawa mons on the sides of the forend and the top of the wrist.

Fine with bright gold, aged silver, most of the brown finish, minor oxidation, and general mild overall wear. The stock is very good and has a horizontal split visible along the right side of the forend, and mild wear. Mechanically fine.
