Manufactured in 1975, the first 500 of this commemorative were issued in pairs bearing the serial number prefix/suffix "MPC". The two pistols fall into the remainder of the series which were primarily released as individuals bearing the serial number prefix/suffix "PC", making these to an unofficial matched pair bearing the matching serial number "555". They both have standard markings and features of the commemorative and are contained in a glass-topped hardwood display case along with a commemorative plaque for each. Also includes a separate hardwood display case for "A" and a leather wrapped hard case for "B".

Excellent overall, retains 99% plus original blue and casehardened finishes with only the slightest handling marks, the faintest traces of a cylinder drag line, and a crisp cartouche on the grip. Mechanically excellent. The case is very fine with some light handling/storage marks and some scattered staining on the glass.
