Designed by Friedrich Pfannl of Austria, the Kolibri and its cartridge, the 2.7mm Kolibri, are credited as the smallest centerfire pistol and centerfire cartridge to see production, with the pistol easily fitting in the palm and measuring less than 3 inches long. Manufactured with a notched groove sight on top of the slide, "FEU" and "SUR" safety markings, "FP" imprints on both grips, and "KOLIBRI" on the right grip panel. Included with the pistol is a brown leather "change purse" style case and a small pewter box containing eight rounds of ammunition.
Fine, with 50% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, mild spotting, bright edge wear and light handling marks. The grips are also fine, with a few dings and crisp checkering. The change purse shows a few small holes in the muzzle and general wear appropriate to age (including the unmistakable profile of the pistol itself rubbed into the material), the box is fair, and some of the rounds may be inert with struck primers and reseated bullets. Mechanically fine.
