Description:Manufactured in Japan by Howa from 1972-1974, using the same machinery (and a number of interchangeable components) as the AR-18 automatic rifle; the receiver is factory marked with an additional zero behind the "AR-18" nomenclature to set it apart as a semi-automatic, and the original safety markings were milled out, filled in, and remarked in the "SAFE/FIRE" pattern. The serial number is located on the upper receiver as seen on the first 1,000 AR-180 rifles produced by Howa. Post front and two-leaf peep rear sights, with a scope mounting block and Tasco 4x32 scope on the receiver, ribbed ventilated handguard, "AR-18" pistol grip, and folding stock.
Rating Definition:Very good with 85% original black finish, scattered light surface scratches, small dings, and some minor edge wear. The grip and stock set is also very good with scattered small scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with clear optics.
