Single brass bead on the matte rib marked "HOPKINS & ALLEN ARMS CO. NORWICH, CT. U.S.A." with 2 3/4 inch chambers, single extractor, doll's head rib extension, and full/full chokes. Casehardened receiver and hammers with dual triggers, and matching numbers on the water table and barrel flats. Checkered splinter forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with scalloped Hopkins & Allen hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Fine with a mostly gray patina on the barrels, thin coat of protective varnish, areas of patchy spotting, and traces of surface pitting. The action has 60% faded original case colors with a dove gray patina on the balance, some light spotting, and refinished trigger guard. The wood is fine with some short hairline cracks at the end of the upper tang, sharp checkering, and some small dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
