These pistols appear to be early percussion pistols from France around the 1820s and have "MP" maker's marks on top of the smoothbore barrels at the breech. They have blade front sights, light engraving on the barrels and upper tangs, floral side plates, birds engraved on the trigger guard bows and pommel plates, and urn style trigger guard finials. The stock have pin accented checkering on the wrists.
Good overall with gray and brown patina, mild oxidation, distinct engraving and checkering, and general mild wear, including some scratches on the stock. Mechanically fine.
