Manufactured in Russia and imported by California Armory Inc. of San Bruno, California, the Izhmach Tiger is a commercial copy of the SVD Dragunov Rifle known in some circles as a “California Armory Tiger” or “California Tiger”. The original order was for 1,000 rifles, but only 700 were imported into the U.S. before importation was cut off. Hooded post front and tangent rear sights, long flash hider with bayonet lug and milled receiver dated "1993" and bearing the factory markings on the right side and the import markings and integral scope mounting rail on the left fitted with a Russian marked PSO-1 scope. The right side is also marked "0174 OF 1000". Fitted with a ventilated plastic forearm, and laminate thumbhole pistol grip stock with stamped buttplate. With extra magazine, canvas scope cover, and canvas sleeve. These rifles are the second rarest Dragunov variant in the United States, second only to the 100 SVDs imported by KBI.
Excellent with 95% plus original black finish, handling marks throughout, and a small bright line under the safety selector. The stock and handguard set are also excellent with some small scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with clear optics.
