Description:
Manufactured from 1887 to 1890. The trigger is casehardened, the trigger guard is blued, and the remaining surfaces are silver plated. Matching serial numbers are found on the butt, cylinder, barrel and barrel latch. The period grips feature a relief carved woman's bust on the right panel.
Rating Definition:
Exceptionally fine, retaining 97% of the original silver plating taking on an aged appearance. Some original case colors remain on the trigger. 70% original blue remains on the trigger guard. The grips are fine with typical age cracking on the underside, minor handling marks and attractive color and grain. The carving is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
