Description:

Manufactured c.1923-1930. Blade front and 1000 yard tangent rear sights, with a "crown/crown/U" proof on the side of the chamber, the Mauser Oberndorf address on top of the chamber and on the right side of the frame, and the "NS" new safety marking on the small ring hammer. External numbers are matching overall. Fitted with a pair of unnumbered 12-groove grips. With a hardwood shoulder stock bearing the Mauser Banner stamp on the left side.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 85% plus of the original blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, a pair of rough patches on the underside of the trigger guard, a small amount of spotting and mild handling marks. Over 70% of the bright niter blue finish is present on the small parts. The grips are also very fine, with some scratches and dings. The stock is very fine, with a numbered replacement mounting iron and some light scattered scratches. Mechanically excellent
