Manufactured in 1890 as a third model with integral dust cover rail and dust cover with serrated rear edge. Beach combination front sight, elevation adjustable buckhorn rear sight, folding tang peep sight, standard Winchester markings, and smooth straight grip stock fitted with a solid crescent buttplate.

Very fine, retaining 75% plus bright original blue finish with the balance thinning to a brown. 20% original nitre blue remains on the loading gate. 20% original case colors remain on the hammer and lever. The wood is fine with a stabilized crack on the forearm and minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
