The included factory letter confirms the current configuration (grips not listed) along with the Class "C" standard level scroll engraving and shipment to Laurel, Maryland on October 23, 1980 in Colt Custom Shop order number 1148. Matching numbers on the frame, trigger guard along with the "COLT ENG." mark, and back strap. Includes a Colt Custom Shop leatherette case.
Excellent overall, with only the slightest handling marks, faint traces of a cylinder drag line, and the trigger guard an attractive plum color. The replacement grips are very fine with some light handling marks, a few hairline age cracks, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some scattered minor handling/storage marks.
