Strauser & Sons of Bayard, Iowa, on September 1, 1934. The barrel has the standard Hartford address and caliber marking with "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY." The frame has the two-line patent dates marking followed by a Rampant Colt on the left side. The left side of the trigger guard has a number "3" above a Colt triangle proof. Excellent, retaining 98% original blue and vivid casehardened finishes showing limited light spotting and a faint cylinder drag line. The grips are also excellent with crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. A highly attractive Pre-War Colt SAA for your growing collection!
