Cased Texas Gun Collectors Association Factory Engraved and Gold Banded Colt Third Generation Single Action Army Revolver with Relief Carved Steer Head Grip and Factory Letter
Manufactured in 1987. This revolver is marked as "11 of 30" on the butt and has traditional American scroll and floral engraving with punch dot backgrounds, gold bands on the muzzle, breech, and rear of the cylinder; a gold star on the top of the back strap with "TEXAS" marked in individual letters on the points, "Texas Gun Collectors Assn" down the back strap, and a raised relief carved steer head and star on the left grip. Includes a hardwood display case with plaque numbered to the gun and factory letter confirming the features and shipment to Joe McBride of McBride's Guns Inc., Austin, TX.
Excellent, retaining 99% original finishes with limited handling evidence. The grips are fine with typical age cracking mostly near the top and on the bottom. Mechanically excellent. The case is excellent.
