Description:These custom rifles were manufactured by Iron Brigade Armory in Jacksonville, North Carolina until the death of Roy Chandler in 2015. These rifles were manufactured to exceed U.S. Marine Corps standards set out for their M40A1 sniper rifles. This example was built in 2004 on a Remington 700 action, heavy barrel with no sights, scope base marked with matching serial number and "CHANDLER SNIPER No. 336" on the side and "IRON BRIGADE ARMORY/JACKSONVILE, NC" on top. Mounted with a McMillan AIC camouflage pattern pistol grip synthetic stock with texturing on the forearm and grip, an adjustable comb, and a Decelerator recoil pad. Includes a Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50 scope with sunshade, a Chandler Sniper marked leather sling and Chandler Sniper weapon record book.
Rating Definition:Excellent overall, retains 99% plus matte black finish with only the slightest cycling marks on the bolt and very scattered light handling marks throughout. Mechanically excellent. The scope has a few light handling marks and clear optics.
