Manufactured in the 1930s, the Glaser conversion unit is nearly identical to the German-made Erma kit, though chambered for the 22 Extra Long cartridge, as the proprietary "hot" 22 LR loading used in the Erma was not available in Switzerland. The kit includes two "W.Glaser/Zurich" marked toggle assemblies (one number 5048, complete, the other incomplete, number 5023) an 8-round magazine, number 5017, and a 7 1/4 inch long sleeve for a 7.65mm barrel. The sleeve (number 27) is fitted with a knurled locking nut, a 1 7/8" steel spacer, 1 3/8" steel/brass spacer, and a 3/4" brass spacer. The included box is painted in tan, green and brown, with a "Neuheit 1932" picture label on the lid. Also included are an incomplete extra Glaser toggle assembly, 3 extra mainsprings, 2 extra firing pin springs, a partial rear sight assembly, and some other small components. Also includes the original Zurich sales receipt and the brass bushings are custom made to also make this usable in a 9mm Luger, along with the standard .30 cal Luger.
Excellent overall. The box is very fine and shows mild edge wear. One of the ultimate Luger accessory items!
