Introduced in 1990 by H&K as a work-around of the 1989 federal ban on the importation of so called "assault weapons. Ghost ring and post front and four position drum rear sights, long barrel without a muzzle break/flash hider, standard textured polymer handguard with folding metal bipod, pistol grip, and fixed polymer stock with adjustable cheekpiece with serrated rubber recoil pad. Excellent. 95% original black finish remains with mostly light handling marks and some marks on the upper receiver where the scope is mounted. Grip and stock are also excellent with some small dings. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with clear optics. Accessories are very good overall.
