Features blade front and 1,000-yard tangent rear sights, the Mauser address on top of the chamber, a small "antler" stamp on the chamber opposite a "crown/crown/U" proof, "VON LENGERKE/& DETMOLD/NEW-YORK" on the left side of the receiver, a short niter blue safety, and checkered gutta percha grips with "MW" monograms. Matching numbers are present on the barrel, follower, floor plate, sight hardware, bolt, large ring hammer, hammer housing, housing retention latch, frame and grips. A refinished hardwood shoulder stock, fitted with a matching renumbered mounting iron, is included.
Rating Definition:Very fine, with 90% plus possibly period refinished blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, light handling marks and minor spotting. The grips are excellent, with a few light dents. The replacement stock is fair as sanded/refinished, with a number of dents and scuffs and some mended cracking around the opening. Mechanically excellent.
