The included factory letter confirms the serial number, barrel length, caliber, finish, factory Class "B" engraving, and that is was shipped on November 10, 1977, to Northland Sports & Supply of Minot, North Dakota, as part of a two gun shipment. The type of stocks are not listed. Standard markings and features with fine scroll engraving. The grips are smooth rosewood with inset gold Colt medallions. Also included is a fitted Colt presentation case which is wrapped in red-orange colored faux-leather with orange velvet lining. The lid shows the Colt shield crest in gold, while the inside lid shows "Colts Patent Repeating Pistols./Hartford, Conn/BEWARE OF COUNTERFEITS & PATENT INFRINGEMENTS/" followed by a copy of Samuel Colt's signature, all in gold.
Excellent 99% plus in presentation case with only a few light handling marks. The grips are very fine as refinished. Case is very fine with some small scuffs and dings.
