Blade front and 1,000 meter tangent rear sights, with "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF a/N" marking on the top of the chamber area, "VON LENGERKE/& DETMOLD/NEW-YORK" marked in the center milled panel area on the left side, and "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER/OBERNDORF A NECKAR" on the right side. The left flat of the barrel is marked with a "Crown/Crown/U" proof, "antler" on the right, and the underside has three small gothic letter stamps. The pistol is fitted with a pair of dark Gutta Percha grips with attractive raised floral designs and matching numbers on the interior, and a combination holster and shoulder stock with a matching serial number atop the mounting iron. The stock is the proper short "bolo" stock, approximately 12 1/2 inches long.
Very fine, with 80% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina concentrated on the grip straps, bright edge wear, and some light spotting and handling marks overall. The grips are fine, with some light rubs and chips on the left panel. The refinished stock is very good, with a number of cracks in the throat and refinished niter blue on the iron. Mechanically excellent.
