Developed and marketed prior to the integration of a stock lug on the 1900 or 1906 Luger, the Ideal Holster uses a pair of wood-covered steel panels as a mounting point for an extending tubular frame buttstock, which has a leather pistol holster within the frame. The stock is blued, with "PATENTS/PENDING" marked on either side of the mouth, and a reversible spring steel belt hook. The grip panels are unmarked, with appropriate cutouts in the left side for a grip safety.
Fine. The steel shows 70% of the bright original blue, with a gray patina, minor spotting and light handling marks on the remainder, along with bright edge wear. The very good leather shows some light cracking and scuffs, and the grip panels show a few light dings.
