Manufactured in late 1898 with the standard markings and features and a special order part round, part octagon barrel.
Fine. 70% plus of the original blue finish remains. The casehardened components have dark brown and gray patina. There is also some scratches and minor marks throughout. The upper tang shows a clear outline of a peep sight. The wood also has some minor scratches and marks. The rifle is mechanically excellent and has crisp markings.
Manufactured in 1907 with the standard markings and features and also fitted with a tang mounted peep sight.
Fine with 75% of the original blue finish, traces of the original case colors, and gray and brown patina on the balance. There are some scratches on the sides of the frame, strike marks on the barrel from adjusting the rear sight, and minor scratches on the fine refinished wood. The rear tang sight screw is a replacement. Mechanically fine, and the markings are crisp.
