Manufactured in 1925. The matching numbered slide has the two-line/two-block address and patent dates on the left side ahead of the Rampant Colt, and the caliber marking on the right. The trigger guard is marked "1/VP" and "47" , with a flat top rear sight, checkered shot milled trigger, wide hammer, long grip safety, arched checkered mainspring housing, checkered grips, "COLT/45 AUTO" marked full blue magazine and a barrel marked with a faint "3" or "B" on the underside.

Excellent, with 97% original blue finish, showing a number of light dings and scratches concentrated on the slide, with some other light edge wear and handling marks overall. The grips are very fine, with some scattered dings. Mechanically excellent.
