Description:

Originally manufactured in 1933, and later upgraded to the (T) pattern, which would remain the Commonwealth-standard sniper rifle from WW II into the 1960s. Blade front and folding ladder rear sights (battle sight removed from the latter), with the magazine cutoff still present on the right side of the frame, the scope mounting blocks on the left, and the King George cipher over "ENFIELD/1933/No4Mk1 T/A0229" on the left side of the socket. Birmingham proofs are present on the chamber and muzzle. The forearm is numbered to match the rifle, with "5921" on top of the wrist, broad arrow and "D" on the underside, with an added raised cheekpiece and a brass buttplate. A Number 32 Mark 1 scope is mounted to the receiver, marked "U.I.C. O.S. 466A/No168" on top, with "M38526" (struck out) and "AK9053" on the base. With an "INTERARMS" marked transport crate, with the proper inventory tag inside the lid and a metal scope case hand-renumbered to this scope and rifle number "AK9053".

Rating Definition:

Very good as arsenal upgraded, with 50% of the thin phosphate arsenal refurbished finish, showing areas of gray patina, brown spotting and scattered handling marks. The stock is good as assembled, with dents and scuffs. The optics are a bit hazy, with some wear on the body, and the case shows mild wear. Mechanically fine.
