Produced by noted gunsmith and arms customizer John Martz, who is best known for his alterations and upgrades of Luger and P 38 pistols. This P 38 has been chambered for the .45 ACP which required the larger barrel, frame, and larger custom magazine. These pistols were all hand made by John Martz requiring several months to make each one. Fitted with blade front and notch rear sights, the left side of the slide is marked "P38 MARTZ 45 No 26", with circled "JVM" and "26" on the right side of the frame. The grips are checkered. With two bright steel magazines, marked "1/JVM" and "2/JVM".
Near mint as customized, with 98% plus bright/straw finish, showing some dark spots and light handling wear overall. Mechanically excellent.
