This is a late post-war Model 49 semi-automatic rifle as produced by FN Herstal for the country of Egypt. This rifle has the late contract Egyptian crown on the receiver ring with the serial number in Arabic numerals on the receiver and matching Farsi on the receiver, receiver cover, stock, bolt carrier and bolt. Smooth pistol grip stock with a brass buttplate, an untranslated stamped brass disc on the right and an untranslated white paint marking on the left.
Very fine, with 90% of the original matte black finish, showing some light edge wear and handling marks. The stock is fine, with a number of dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
