Manufactured in 1973. The accompanying factory letter lists this revolver with a factory Class A engraving by S&W engraver Tommy Freyburger, blue finish and smooth rosewood target stocks when it was shipped on July 25, 1974, to Arizona Hardware & Supply Co. of Phoenix. Comes with the S&W hardwood display case containing a bore rod with two attachments and screwdriver.

Excellent. The revolver retains 98% original blue finish showing some speckling of gray on the barrel and a very light cylinder drag line. Nearly all original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are also excellent showing wear on the bottom edge at the back and retaining nearly all of the finish. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with a few minor handling/storage marks and some high spot wear and a break in the flock covered plastic insert.
