Manufactured in Wyandotte, Michigan, prior to the 1986 registry cut-off, and currently installed in item B of this lot. Aluminum construction with a steel trip sear. An adjustable block is installed in the bolt carrier to contact the trip sear.
Excellent. Some dings are visible on the trip sear, but the item is solidly constructed and passes a hand-cycle function test. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
Originally manufactured in 1992, this HBAR has been significantly modified, both via addition of the drop-in sear listed in item A and by installation of a Jonathan Ciener (Titusville, FL) belt feed conversion. The upper and lower receivers have been altered to accommodate the Ciener components, and an ammo box carrier (one box included) is installed in the magazine well. The barrel is fitted with a birdcage flash hider and marked for a 1/7 twist. It has an adjustable front post sight and an A2 pattern rear sight. The selector switch has the standard "SAFE" and "FIRE" markings, though the switch itself is fully functional (safe/semi/full). Fitted with a ribbed round forearm, checkered pistol grip and a fixed buttstock with trapdoor compartment. No belt links are included.
Very fine as upgraded, with 90% of the matte gray finish overall, showing mild wear and handling marks. The furniture shows some mild scuffs but is overall in good shape. Mechanically excellent. Note: The lot will not be split up.
