Manufactured in the 1870s and 1880s. It is only marked with "CAST STEEL" on the left side of the barrel near the breech, Birmingham proofmarks on the barrel and cylinder, and "H" and "HJ" on the right side of the front strap. It has a grooved rib and top strap, small blade front sight, checkered walnut grips, and a lanyard loop on the butt.
Very good with patches of original finish, mottled gray and brown patina, oxidation, and mild pitting. The grips are also very good and have crisp checkering and minor marks. Mechanically fine.
