Manufactured in 1911. Fixed blade front and frame notch rear sights with the two-line address and patent marking on top of the barrel and the one-line caliber notation on the left side. The underside of the barrel is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" followed by "RAC" (Rinaldo A. Carr) inspector's initials. Matching serial numbers are on the crane, yoke, butt, and the back of each grip panel. The partial serial number "5352" is stamped on the back of the cylinder catch. "RAC" marks are repeated on the rear cylinder face, right side of the frame, and bottom of each grip panel. The right side of the frame is also stamped with a circled "WGP" inspectors mark. Features the early high polish Colt blue finish with nitre blue trigger and hammer top and the "Rampant Colt/C" marking on the sideplate.
Fine. 70% original bright high polish blue finish remains with areas of high point wear, small surface scratches, sharp edges, and crisp markings. The fine grips display handling marks overall, some light pressure dents, and clear inspection marks on the butt. Mechanically excellent.
