According to Wilkerson's "The Post-War Colt Single-Action Revolver, 1976-1986" this revolver is one of 2,630 estimated to be manufactured in the model P-1740 configuration. Complete with the original Colt "wood grain" box, hanging tag, and papers.
Rating Definition:
Excellent with 99% plus blue and casehardened finish, showing only slight handling marks. The grips are as new. The box is very good with some minor corner and edge wear, and scuff marks. Mechanically excellent.
