Manufactured in Japan about 1987 as one of a limited quantity of High Grade Model 71 rifles. Ramp bead and buckhorn sights, with extensive scroll and floral engraving on the satin receiver, which shows a gold inlaid buck deer running through the woods on the right side ahead of the loading gate and a pair of gold inlaid elk in a field on the left side, which is signed "T. NAKA" at the bottom. Fitted with a checkered fancy walnut pistol grip stock with a half-length magazine, metal forearm cap and a checkered shotgun buttplate. With a matching numbered factory box.
Near new in box with only light handling marks. The box is good with some tears and wear.
