Colt Trooper MK III Double Action Revolver from the Colt Factory Collection with Factory Box and Letter
Manufactured from 1969 to 1983, this is an example of a Colt Trooper MK III revolver with electroless nickel finish kept by the Colt factory as a sample and display piece as confirmed by the included factory letter. The letter also confirms the grips, barrel length, caliber and maroon factory box. The revolver was released from the factory inventory in 2008. Standard markings, adjustable rear sight and checkered wraparound grips with gold plated Rampant Colt medallions. The box has the Colt Custom Gun Shop end label numbered to the gun.
Excellent. The revolver retains 99% plus original electroless nickel finish showing a noticeable cylinder drag line. The grips are near new with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine showing some minor wear and some separation along a flap.
