Introduced in 1910. Fixed sights, with the 2-line address/patent dates on the slide, Belgian proofs, and checkered "FN" grips. The left grip is marked with two untranslated Kanji markings. The pistol includes a Japanese style brown leather flap holster with similar Kanji markings inside the flap. High ranking officers in the Japanese military often privately purchased their own sidearms. Writer believes this example to be a similar instance.

Fine with 60% of the thin and faded original blue finish, with mild spotting throughout and light edge wear. The grips are fine with general handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine with tight stitching, edge and corner wear, and small scuffs throughout.
