While Hedderwick's exact combat actions have not been identified, the Scots Guards were involved in very heavy fighting, including the 1st and 2nd Battles of the Somme, Passcendaele, 1st Marne, and others.
Very fine showing 90% plus of the retailer applied bright high polish blue with some mild pitting beneath the surface, bright edge wear, scratches near the trigger guard and scattered handling marks. The grips are very fine with some mild age cracks and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
