This rifle has the signature "Jacob * K" visible on the top of the barrel near the breech. The remaining letters of are not visible. It is equipped with a Russell Hamm replacement lock, fixed blade and notch sights, double set triggers, rococo carving behind the cheek rest, and brass plates along the edge of the comb and bottom of the forearm. The lock has some light engraving as do the fourteen silver inlays and the ornate brass patch box.
Good as restored to Flintlock configuration. The barrel is mostly dark brown and has some areas of lighter patina. It has been shortened from the breech end as part of the reconversion. The brass and silver are mostly bright with some light aging and areas of smoothed engraving. The lock is dark brown and has some light oxidation. The stock has been spliced behind the middle ramrod pipe and around the lock and has minor scratches and marks throughout. The lock and set triggers function very well.
