This is an outstanding example of a Mauser Model 1930 Commercial Broomhandle Pistol with the correct walnut combination shoulder stock/holster. The top of the barrel chamber is marked "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF A/N", with a "crown/U" proof on the left upper flat and the serial number (889998) on the left side. The left rear panel of the receiver is marked with the Mauser banner and the right rear of the frame is marked "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER/OBERNDORF A. NECKAR/D.R.P.u.A.P." The "crown/U" proof is repeated on the top of the bolt handle. Integral blade front sight and tangent rear sight graduated from 50 to 1,000 meters. All blue finish and fitted with 12 groove walnut grips and lanyard ring on the butt. Complete with a wooden stock/holster with the Commercial Mauser banner logo stamped on the left rear. The attaching iron is correctly unnumbered.

Excellent with 99% of the original blue finish overall with a very light hint of edge and high spot wear overall. The markings are clear and sharp. The walnut grips are in excellent condition. Mechanically excellent. The walnut stock is in excellent condition with a nice original oil finish on the wood with handling marks and light scratches on the sides where it came in contact with something. The attaching iron has 98% of its blue finish overall with a nice clear, distinct Mauser banner logo.
