Description:

Constructed from blue/gray wool overall with concealed front buttons, the tunic is outfitted with the blue and white cuff title "HERMANN GORING" on the right arm, a pair of blank shoulder boards with white waffenfarbe (of HG Division), and a pair of white collar tabs with single eagle badges. The interior is fitted with a pair of adjustable suspension hooks, with size markings "45 47/109/69 67" in black ink on the left breast pocket and repeated on a paper tag near the button holes. The trousers are lined with white rayon at the top, with black ink size markings "84 86/119 100". Probably taken from a depot. This blue H.G. Division uniform appeared around 1943. There are photos of blue uniform in usage by HG troops from Italy in 1943/44 showing this style of uniform in blue. Provenance: Bob Johnson

Rating Definition:

Excellent, totally original overall, with some mild staining and handling marks overall.
