Manufactured in 1891. Blade front sight and an adjustable sporting-type rear sight. The barrel has the standard two-line address/patent date (1883-1887) markings with "32 Cal." at the breech. It has a full length magazine. The left side of the frame has the Rampant Colt and the serial number is on the lower tang. Mounted with a checkered forearm and a smooth straight grip stock with crescent buttplate.
Very good. The barrel and magazine tube have a smooth mottled brown patina. The receiver retains 30% original thinning blue finish with areas of smooth plum patina. The edges of the bolt and receiver edges around the bolt show some minor battering. There are a few scratches and evidence of some light cleaning on the receiver. The lightly varnished wood is also fine with a crude "HMB???" scratched into the lower left side of the stock (appears period), and overall some minor dents and dings. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
