Manufactured in 1908. With dual white bead sights on the solid matte rib marked "PARKER BROTHERS. MAKERS. MERIDEN CONN. VULCAN STEEL". With 2 3/4 inch chambers, improved cylinder/modified chokes and an extractor. The frame is vibrantly casehardened with the standard "PARKER BROS" marking on the sides and a simple zig-zag border at the edges. Mounted on a multi-point checkered beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with a hard rubber Parker Brothers grip cap and a checkered naked butt. Length of pull is 14 1/8 inches. The consignor states the restoration was performed by Del Greco, however no marking can be found.
Very fine as professionally restored with 99% of the blue and vibrant casehardened finishes. With some light edge wear near the muzzle, small areas of light pitting that have been cleaned and finished over and very clear markings. The frame has a small area of light, dark spotting and minor pin point pitting on the underside. The triggerguard shows some spotting and light pitting as well. The refinished wood is also very fine with some light dings in the varnish, surface scratches and some light indentations. Mechanically excellent.
