Only 113 Second Generation revolver were identified as having been shipped in this barrel length, caliber, and finish according to the data discussed in Wilkerson's "The Post-War Colt Single-Action Revolver, 1955-1975". The factory letter indicates this revolver shipped in its current configuration (grips not listed) to Ed Agramonte Inc. in Yonkers, New York, as the sole gun of this type in a shipment on June 18, 1963. It has the standard markings including matching serial and assembly numbers. It also has the standard features aside from the thick custom grips. The grips have black faux pearl bodies inlaid with engraved floral scroll designs and scalloped borders.
Excellent. 98% plus of the original nickel plating remains. There is a thin cylinder drag line, flash marks, and some light handling/storage marks. The custom grips are also excellent with some lightly aged patina on the inlays and light handling marks. The action and markings are excellent.
