Manufactured between 1910 and 1915. Five screw model with round blade forged front sight and notch rear sight, pinned barrel, casehardened hammer, ejector rod head and trigger. Standard S&W two line address/patent dates on top of the barrel with a small S&W logo on the right side plate. Finished with checkered hard rubber S&W monogram grips.
Very fine. The revolver retains 95% original blue overall. The barrel shows some minor thinning on the muzzle and on high points. All markings are crisp and clear. The frame exhibits a few light handling marks and a small patch of isolated pin prick type pitting under the cylinder release. The edges are sharp and crisp. The hammer and trigger still retain strong vibrant original case colors. The grips are fine. The action is excellent.
